## ## Marlins’ new jerseys unveiled

As part of MLB’s new 10 year partnership with Nike, the apparel company will be the exclusive uniform provider for all 30 MLB teams. On Monday, Nike released promotional images of every team’s new white jerseys. On Miami’s uniforms, the Nike swoosh is emblazoned on the upper right corner, directly above the M in Marlins.

Last season, the Marlins completely overhauled their uniforms, changing their colors to Caliente Red, Miami Blue, Midnight Black and Slate Gray as part of an initiative by the new ownership group to start a new chapter in South Florida.

In the NL East, the New York Mets will make three appearances, while the Atlanta Braves will be on once. In a surprising move, the defending World Series champion Washington Nationals were held out of the first half lineup.

While the Marlins haven’t played on Sunday Night Baseball recently, they were showcased on MLB Network for their July 4th road contest versus the Washington Nationals. Their most recent national television appearance at Marlins Park came in 2018 when the team hosted the Atlanta Braves on Fox Sports 1.
